About the Journal

Cross-Sections is an inter-disciplinary publication that aims to showcase a true cross-section of the academic talent found in Bruce Hall. Bruce has maintained a strong academic culture since the hall was founded in 1961, and became the first college to publish an academic journal in 2005.

The Bruce community endeavours to foster this academic culture with current students, Bruce alumni, and the broader community through the annual Cross-Sectionspublication. The publication includes academic articles and research essays, photographs as well as original art pieces.
